User interface well designed, easy to set up, register and use.  Using Hikvision’s Hik-Connect.com platform the service is reliable and easily set up.  Alternatively NVRs / DVRs can be setup using router port forwarding.

Sharing feature allows you to grant CCTV viewing access to other Hik-Connect users on a camera by camera basis and as well as by feature.  For example: you can give live view access for one user and live view and playback access to another.

Professional CCTV monitoring and management software. This software is easy to use for the basic functions like live view and playback.  But it also has a lot more going on, if you want to really get into it.

It’s quite a heavyweight bit of software with many professional features. So if your computer isn’t very fast or you just want the basic functions, you may want to get the “Lite” version (only available on Windows at this time).
